This retreat is dedicated to exploring books that celebrate one of our favorite genre’s- ROMANCE! Indulge in five-star dining from the inn's top-rated chef, and bask in the cozy ambiance of the lounge by the fire, the picturesque barn, or the snug reading nook of your private room. Each guest will be welcomed with a bag of delightful goodies, including a special book chosen for our discussions. Engage in enriching activities and heartfelt conversations throughout the weekend, or simply revel in the solitude of reading and reflection.

Arrive Friday afternoon and settle into your cozy retreat, taking time to explore the scenic grounds at your leisure. As the evening begins, we’ll gather for a warm welcome happy hour, the perfect opportunity to meet fellow book lovers. Then, indulge in a delightful dinner beneath the twinkling lights of the barn, a magical setting to start the weekend. End the night with an optional evening activity designed to ease you into relaxation and connection.

Start your mornings with a delicious breakfast in the inn’s charming main building, the perfect way to ease into the day. Throughout Saturday, enjoy a mix of engaging activities before and after lunch—ranging from bookish crafts and lively discussions to author Q&As, writing workshops, and more. As we get closer, a full itinerary will be shared so you can plan your perfect retreat experience. Evenings will flow from a relaxed happy hour into a delightful dinner, followed by an optional nighttime activity to unwind and connect.

On our final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we come together for a heartfelt, nostalgia-filled send-off—a special way to reflect, connect, and say goodbye. Checkout will be late Sunday morning, giving you time to soak in the last moments of your retreat before heading home, refreshed and inspired.

While we offer plenty of engaging activities, participation is entirely up to you—there’s no pressure to join anything. Our bookish crafts are designed to be quick and enjoyable, typically taking under an hour, so you can easily return to your reading whenever you like.
Beyond the retreat, the charming towns of Stockbridge and Lennox offer stunning scenic stops, picturesque covered bridges, and fantastic sightseeing opportunities. Whether you explore on your way in, on your way home, or take a break with a new friend or audiobook, the beauty of The Berkshires is yours to discover.
