  • From the moment you arrive we will look after you - we want to ensure that all you have to think about is which book to read next.

    You arrive in the late afternoon to be met by one of our hosts in the lobby who will assist in checking you into your comfortable room and ensure that you receive a printed copy of the retreat itinerary and a lovely retreat welcome gift. After spending some time to cozy up with a book,  supper will be served  - where we can all discuss our favorite topic: books! If you can't tear yourself away from your book, we can make arrangements for you to take your meal back to your room instead.

    Breakfast, lunch & dinner the next day will be served at a specified time and location.   Again - company and conversation will be offered, but you can choose the quiet option and keep reading.

    During the day, you're at liberty to wander around, or stay nestled in reading to your heart's content. Our chosen venues also have lovely spaces other than your room where you can just sit and read.  

    Our hosts will always be on hand for any issues that may arise, and will also be leading any optional activities throughout the day such as hikes, crafts, discussions, etc (as listed in the individual retreat itinerary).

    • Lively discussion around your favorite book or genre.

    • All meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, except for meals specified in the “What’s not included” section on retreat page(s).

    • Welcome packet and gift bag

    • Workshops or crafts (each retreat includes unique offerings)

    • Any listed excursions in the “What’s included” section on retreat page(s)

    • You will leave with new friends with common interests and passions.

    • Airfare

    • Travel insurance

  • Travel insurance, while not mandatory, is something we strongly recommend for unexpected cancellations and any other incidents that can happen when traveling. We include this in our terms and conditions as well that is a required sign off at checkout to ensure this is understood.

  • Yes! We usually have an add-on option for any rooms with additional beds. Add-on prices vary based on each retreat but make it more affordable by splitting the cost of the room.

    Additionally for our rooms with one large bed there is a double occupancy ticket that includes entry for two guests. This is great for friends who don't mind sharing a bed or a couple attending the retreat.

  • A retreat is an opportunity to step outside of your day-to-day life and responsibilities. Therefore, it is best for individuals to be able to focus on themselves and relax, even outside of scheduled retreat activities.

    With that being said there is a double occupancy option so if you wanted to attend with a spouse or friend that is fine. Each guest is required to have purchased a ticket.

    Our minimum age to attend is 21 years of age at the time of the retreat.

  • You must be at least 21 years of age.

  • No, the agenda provides optional activities. Listed activities such as yoga, excursions, hiking, and workshops are all available to you and included in the cost of the retreat but are not mandatory! This retreat is for you. Choose your own adventure. Only participate in the activities that suit you.

  • Yes! We have a section on our registration form asking you to share these details, so please make certain that we have all of the information we need to ensure your and dietary restrictions are met.

    If there is any issue with us being able to meet these needs communicated, we would reach out to you promptly.

  • We will reach out to guests with what to bring leading into the trip. But most of the trips won't require more can relaxing and comfortable clothing, your TBR if that is what you want to tackle on the trip, and a open mind!

  • Yes, but it may be limited. Depending on your cell service, there may be areas of the lodging or excursions where you will have limited services.

  • Absolutely, but you will be responsible for yourself and your expenses. We can not provide lodging, meals or transportation outside of the retreat start and end times. This will also depend on the inn's availability.

  • That is dependent on the retreat. Please feel free to contact us if you have a specific request.

  • Yes, we welcome group bookings and are happy to assist in making this an incredible book club experience!

    Additionally if you would like to have plan a weekend for your book club, reach out to us and we'd love to make that possible with one of our amazing vendors.
